Albert A. Miles, Jr. passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2026 in Somerset, NJ. He was 83.

Born in Passaic, Albert grew to be an entrepreneur. A man of many talents, he overcame many challenges and was awarded through his dedication as a top salesman.

Albert went on to start his own landscaping business, D&D Equipment, where he worked in landscaping and general contracting. Through his company, he was responsible for building many homes in Sparta, NJ. The business became a way of creating more than just beautiful exteriors and buildings by making memories with his son, Dante.

Albert honorably served our country in the US Army during peacetime in Germany. Known as an advent serviceman, he was a proud veteran and patriot.

While he owned multiple businesses, Albert ended his career installing distributing and installing glass frames at Nordstom’s department store at the Paramus Mall.

With a dedicated heart, Albert gave so much to his country, his businesses, and his family. Those who loved him can find peace in knowing he is resting in God’s care.
